Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONResponsible for management and oversight of daily operations and maintenance of the renewable-Solar facilities in the assigned region.. This includes development and compliance with an operating budget, outage coordination and scheduling with the interconnect entity, scheduling coordinator and trading desk. Provides problem identification and resolution, corrective action and tracking of reliability issues. Responsible for management and oversight of onsite contractors. Accountable for assigned sites to assure services are executed to Exelon Wind/Solar Operations and Maintenance requirements and in alignment with company EHS programs.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES1 Analyze data, graphs, faults statistics for generating units. Utilize HMI, MMI, trending interfaces for use in statistical process control applications.2 Monitor Generating and supporting equipment for maintenance quality audits, troubleshooting, assisting wind turbine technicians, and implementing fleet wide improvement changes.3 Available to respond to nontraditional operating hours for maintenance and emergent issues for the following: Land owner issues, utility interactions, OEM¿s supplier maintenance support, and substation maintenance/troubleshooting/RCAs activities.4 Oversee/Manage high voltage switching at substations, transmission circuits, or wind turbine supplier transformer feeds.5 Work order documentation, and maintenance procedural writing. Design, test, implement, and revise procedures for Exelon Wind/Solar operations.6 Assists in developing operating procedures changes to optimize Generating equipment continuous improvement projects. Complete procedure and process documentation for various aspects of Wind/Solar Turbine O&M requirements.7 Perform all other duties as assigned.POSITION SPECIFICATIONSMinimum:1 BS in engineering or technical field and 6+ years professional experience OR Associate degree in technical field and 8+ years professional experience with 3+ years exempt-level experience2 Knowledge of applicable electrical power generation, transmission, motors/generators, or process controls discipline codes and standards 3 Product design, test and/or analysis experience.4 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal5 Strong computer skills, including knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products6 Ability to work in a remote/restrictive power environment that includes climbing, walking long distances, confined spaces and tall heights7 Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Preferred:1 MS in engineering or technical field2 Experience in wind/solar plant operations and wind/solar generating equipment experience3 Experience in high voltage maintenance and switching4 Working knowledge of generating equipment controls and SCADA systems.5 Working knowledge with commercial contracts and contract administration.
