Business Unit Overview
Exelon Power is responsible for managing, operating, and maintaining the company's fossil and hydroelectric fleet of generating assets. Exelon Power has a presence in 15 states and Alberta, Canada, and is capable of generating more than 14,500 megawatts of power through a portfolio of 186 hydroelectric, fossil, biomass and landfill gas units, as well as 18 megawatts from two solar plants and nearly 900 megawatts across 38 wind projects. Exelon Power's diverse generating portfolio enables the company to be competitive in the deregulated power market during the intermediate seasons and peak demand periods.

Job Description
Duties and AccountabilityTroubleshoot faults within wind turbine generator systems using tools ranging from common hand and power tools to precision measuring instruments.Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, maintenance procedures, and work orders to determine material requirements and proper assembly procedures.Inspect and test wire installations, assemblies and circuits.Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.Operate a variety of hydraulic torque and tension equipment for the purpose of preventative maintenance and repair of tower flanges, gearbox mounts, and blade & hub bolts.Work with crane rigging, lifting devices, tag lines and personnel by giving both verbal and hand signals for proper positioning of load being lifted.Complete proper & timely documentations including type, cost, materials, and time within the work order management system.Conduct work safely and with an attention to detail.Perform any other duties as assigned, such as on-call, outside regular business hours.
Job RequirementsAssociates Degree in Engineering Technology, or Electronics ORHS Diploma or GED with minimum of 12 months of technical training or equivalent experienceSuccessfully complete the training requirements and time in job requirements for the position including previously passing the EEI testAvailability for overtime as required and limited travelGood oral and written communication skillsBasic computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsComplete High Voltage training Ability to climb 300¿ WTG up to 3 times per day utilizing service ladder only Ability to appropriately lift up to 75 pounds
