Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Performs and/or manages activities relating to planning, designing, building, and maintaining high quality solutions, products and processes. Creates and assigns detailed tasks to subordinates. Has budget responsibility for a small project, sub-project or process component. Expected to work under minimal supervision.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (means principal, main, major or most important duties / accountabilities that the employee performs)Item Accountability1.Perform, manage and appropriately document work activities relating to projects, sub-projects, or processes.
- For projects: plan, design, and build high quality IT software solutions in accordance with IT project management standards.
- For operations and application maintenance and support: plan and lead IT activities required to manage service level agreements. Assist others in planning and prioritizing work and work schedule.
2.Assist in creation of documentation for products and services. Use best practices to improve products and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Group to standards as defined within the Management Model3.Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders4.Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel. Provide performance and development feedback as required5. Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or functionPOSITION SCOPE

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum:
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 5 to 8 years relevant experience.The Mobile Enterprise Application Lead Analyst will be responsible for leading and driving our mobile technology vision forward by designing and developing cutting edge tools, frameworks and applications, leading a development groups and customers to quickly develop and deploy modern mobile applications for internal users.
The Mobile Enterprise Application Lead Analyst should understand leading application integration techniques to interface to backend applications through a modern services enabled architecture.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a high level of understanding on how mobile applications are designed, developed, and deployed.
The Mobile Enterprise Application Lead Analyst will collaborate with a diverse group of infrastructure and applications architects, quality analysts, user experience experts, application designers, developers and product managers to deliver robust mobile solutions that showcase our brand.o Lead a team of lead and senior level mobile analysts
- Support for team and project budgets
- Responsible for operational leadership of mobile device environments
- Work with the architecture team to support next generation mobile technology tools & frameworks that assure consistency in code development, packaging and delivery.
- Has knowledge of how to navigate and influence the mobile eco systems of Android (Google) and iOS (Apple) and how to leverage and influence key industry frameworks and open source projects as applicable.
- Lead the design and development guidelines which the mobile applications team will adhere to in order to provide standards.
- Stay abreast of emerging mobile technology trends
- Ensure the mobile applications are aligned with organizational architecture, goals and objectives. o Appropriate Preferred Technical Skills
o REST/SOA, JavaScript MVC (Backbone/Angular), HTML5/CSS3 (Bootstrap or JQuery Mobile a plus), JQuery, Git, Agile/Lean (Methodology and tools), Objective-C (iOS) and/or Java (Android), PhoneGap/Cordova, SiteMinder/Layer7, OAuth2/SAML, UI/UX Experience, Prototyping experience (Balsamiq or similar), Continuous build tools, Analytics, Image Manipulation (Photoshop/GIMP)
o Non-technical skills preferred
o Demonstrated drive to innovate
o Side-project experience (shows a larger drive to learn outside of Exelon's walls)
