Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Responsible for development and communication of performance indicators. Coordinate Engineering capital and O&M budget. Provides support to engineering department as the SME for long term asset management and the capital planning processes.

Reports To: General Supervisor, Asset Management

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (*essential job functions)

1. Supports all Engineering Management programs at Site through development of performance indicators.
2. Adheres to accident prevention and occupational health work procedures and housekeeping regulations. Ensures safekeeping of materials, tools and equipment.
3. Recommends improvements and modifications in organization, procedures, policies, standards, specifications, methods, processes, and equipment within the area of responsibilities.
4. Coordinates creation and updating of the Engineering capital and O&M budgets.
5. Provides support to system engineering for Long Term Planning.
6. Provides support to various departments to ensure timely progression of projects through the TRB/PHC/PRC process.
7. Supports various projects and assignments, i.e., corrective action program, budget development and control and program development and implementation.
8. May be appointed as a member of the emergency response team.
9. Controls and implements process improvements for Long Term Asset Management and the Capital Planning processes.
10. Utilizes various plant information/data base management systems to input and extract financial planning and equipment reliability initiatives.
11. Develops and conducts training as required.
12. Coordinates updating and maintaining the Top 10 Material Condition listing, and the various 20/40 listings.
13. Creates and maintains various site wide engineering presentations such as the Equipment Reliability Management Review Meeting.
14. Conducts periodic self assessments related to equipment reliability and long term asset management.

Qualifications

Job Specifications:
Knowledge:
Knowledgeable in company policies and procedures. Knowledgeable in the use of personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem solving skills coupled with the ability to make and implement decisions. Knowledgeable in the labor contract and building trade agreements, if applicable.

Skills/Abilities:
Project management skills required along with the ability to clearly state vision and desired outcome for projects. Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree in engineering or finance discipline preferred. 5 years experience working within Engineering processes required. Experience in budget and vendor contract administration. Basic database management experience.

Other:
1. Ability to meet and maintain unescorted access requirements of a nuclear power plant.
2. Ability to work additional hours to support on-going plant operations and outages.
3. Must be available for on-call status.
4. Ability to read, write and analyze reports and written materials.
5. Ability to see, hear and speak to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
6. Ability to serve on emergency response team, when called.
7. Regular and consistent attendance is essential to the performance of the position.
